Yin Yoga

In Yin Yoga we explore longer passive stretches of the body, that generate the flow of chi through the energy channels of the bodymind. Releasing deep layers of contraction held in the connective tissue (fascia) & in the 14 main meridians that feed into all of our primary organs. Inviting suppleness & flexibility into the physical body & restoring harmony & balance to the mental & emotional bodies. Cultivating Mindfulness; the art of neither withdrawing from nor identifying with whatever arises, physically, psychologically & emotionally,  we allow deep release on all level of our beings. Inviting integration & harmony of Body, Mind & Spirit.

Restorative Yoga

A deeply relaxing practice that invites profound rest to our body & a peaceful relationship with our mind. The longer held postures support the reversal of the stress response, tonifying & nourishing the nervous system & nurturing the organs that play a key role in restoration & renewal.  Each posture is supported with various  props & cushions, which in turn allow the body to completely let go & relax into the meditation of simply resting in effortless awareness of the present moment.

Yoga Nidra

An embodied relaxation meditation, where awareness is consciously moved throughout the body.  You will be guided to focus your attention on relaxing each specific body area, thus immersing it in the chi flow that effortlessly follows awareness. Allowing a relaxed yet consistent attention to sensations, through which arrives a deep rest & renewal of body, mind & spirit.

Mindfulness Meditation

A profound meditation practice within which we simply rest as the awareness that is neither rejecting nor indulging the thoughts, perceptions & reactions arising within the mind. Grounded in the buddhist understanding of the suffering that is inherent in both the constant seeking of & attachment to pleasure, & the rejection & suppression of that that we perceive as painful. We cultivate our capacity to rest open as the all embracing awareness within which all things arise & fall, accepting this moment exactly as it is without judgement, preference or identification
