Samata Holistic Retreat Center is the primary fundraising Center for The Dunagiri Foundation for Himalayan Herbal Research and Yogic Studies.  This is a not-for-profit Charitable Trust founded in India in 2009, aimed at empowering villagers and farmers find sustainable solutions to cultivate, harvest and preserve a growing list of endangered herb species solely endemic to high altitude Alpine Himalaya in a fragile mountainous ecosystem.
